Today I decided to do some 'happiness' research. I read some quotes but got a bit confused. Then realized when trying to define something one should go straight to the ultimate resource for definitions, the DICTIONARY (duh). And I noticed something interesting.... | (click the picture. you won't regret it.) |

3. Rewordify. A super cool tech tool that can make you happy! It's free, super easy to use, and I really think you should check it out. Basically, you paste in a selection of text (or a web address for a whole site) and it simplifies difficult words in an intelligent way. Click the example on the right to see a website I 'rewordified'. As you hover over the highlighted text it shows you the word that got replaced. (If you're competitive like me you'll try to guess all the words...SAT practice anyone?) There are tons of awesome uses and specific examples are on the site. | Interested in doing any of the lessons on the site? Your library can alter those lesson plans for you, and even get them up online, and co-teach it with you. That should make you happy, right?! |
