"Really, podcasts in the classroom?" I will admit that this was MY first thought, though I am not sure why since I have always found them enjoyable and know there are a slews of different topics. They are engaging, enlightening and can be incredibly entertaining (wow, the 3 E's of learning....a trifecta for student engagement ~ 4! ~ right there). |
"What Teens are Learning from 'Serial' and Other Podcasts" offers some pretty great advantages. (One educational advantage that surprised me ~ students can listen to content two-to-three grade levels higher than they can read.)
